German Courses for Refugees
Language is the most important condition for being able to live in a foreign country, find work and take part in training.
The Volkshilfe Refugee and Migrant Support holds and organises German courses for asylum seekers.
On the courses the asylum seekers learn German. It is important for them to learn the language quickly. Then they are better integrated into society and find work more easily.
The German courses are held either directly by the Refugee and Migrant Support. Or in cooperation with municipalities or other organisations and associations for adult education.
Where are there German courses?
The German courses take place directly in the housing projects for asylum seekers. Or at the partners: in the municipalities or organisations and associations for adult education.
Who teaches the German courses?
The teachers on the German courses are German teachers, who also teach at schools.
Or German teachers, who used to teach at schools and have now retired.
