At Volkshilfe Refugee and Migrant Support, there are various projects for the integration of people, who are seeking asylum in Austria. Their start in Austria and their start in the world of work are made easier.

Job Market Integration

The Job Market Integration project is for people, who are seeking protection and asylum in Austria.
Job Market Integration offers support in the areas of education, qualifications and work.

What does the Job Market Integration project do?

Job Market Integration helps with education and qualifications.

• Looking for the right training: School and courses
• Advice on recognition and equal status of qualifications from abroad for people, who have been trained in their homeland.
• Information about financial support.

Job Market Integration helps on the job market.

• Looking for a job or apprenticeship
• Help with applications and interviews
• Help with problems at work
• Help with questions about employment law
• Help if you lose your job

The project Start-Up Aid is for people, who are seeking protection and asylum in Austria.
Start-Up Aid helps them make a start in Austria.

What does Start-Up Aid do?

Start-Up Aid provides information about the legal and social possibilities in Austria.
Start-Up Aidadvises on planning and implementing personal goals.
Start-Up Aid offers care and help

• with getting documents
• with social, legal and financial matters
• with finding a flat or when a flat is lost
• with bringing families together
• with illness and health care
• with learning the language
• with school or work
