Mobile Care and Help
Who needs mobile care and help?
Old people or people, who are ill, and need help with everyday life.
What does mobile care and help do?
Mobile care employees come to the people at home. They help with:
- Washing and dressing
- Going to the doctor
- Medical Care at home
- Preparing doses of medicine
- Changing bandages
- Injecting insulin
This help at home means that old people do not have to go into the care home so quickly.
People, who need help after an accident, get better more quickly at home. Thanks to mobile help, they do not have to go into the hospital so often, because Volkshilfe care personnel change their bandages.
The employees listen to the people, who they care for. They are there for the people. That is particularly important when older people can no longer go out themselves.
Who provides mobile care and help?
People with different kinds of training work for mobile care. Depending on which sort of help the people need, the following carers may come:
- Qualified nurses and carers
- Professional social carers
- Home helps
The mobile care employees from mobile care also come on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
What does mobile care cost?
Part of the cost must be paid by the people, who need the care. The rest is paid by the Upper Austrian government. How much you pay depends on how much pension, salary or care allowance you get. We will be happy to advise you.
