People, who have been unemployed for a long time, work at the household service. They work for the household service for 10 months. They are paid by the Upper Austrian government or by the employment office.

How much you have to pay for the household service depends on how much you earn.

What is the Ironing Service?

An offer for people, who cannot or do not want to iron their laundry themselves.

Where is the Ironing Service?

In Eferding, Rohrbach and in Schlüßlberg.

How does the Ironing Service work?

In Eferding and Schlüßlberg the customers give their laundry to the Volkshilfe shop. In Rohrbach the customers give their laundry directly to the Volkshilfe office.
The employees call when the laundry has been ironed. The customers can collect the laundry.
