Living in Dialogue
Living in Dialogue
Living in Dialogue helps to improve and prevent conflicts between neighbours. Living in Dialogue concentrates especially on big housing complexes, where people from many different cultures live together.
Living in Dialogue helps when there are conflicts between neighbours or problems with the landlord.
Together with the residents Living in Dialogue organises festivals, intercultural cooking classes, or other events.
Living in Dialogue works closely with housing cooperations, municipalities and other institutions like kindergardens.
Therefore Living in Dialogue can offer individual support for each residential area.
Intercultural Gardens “Bunte Gärten”
“Bunte Gärten” are community gardens. Many people share the garden.
Everyone has his or hers own bed, but there is also a common space, where people can meet or host parties.
The gardens are intercultural. People of all ages and any cultural and social backgrounds can participate.
So far Volkshilfe Living in Dialogue has founded 8 intercultural gardens in Upper Austria.
