Volkshilfe in Austria has a long history dating back to 1947. Since its foundation, it has been committed to the well-being of people and has campaigned for social justice. Today, Volkshilfe employs a proud 9,000 people in Austria, who work in various areas.
The current President of Volkshilfe Österreich is Ewald Sacher and Erich Fenninger is the Director of Volkshilfe Österreich. Volkshilfe’s activities extend to all of Austria’s federal states. The Volkshilfe organisations in the federal provinces are independent associations with their own board and management.
We are active in all districts of Upper Austria and provide support with a wide range of services.
